I take my dungeons and dragons very seriously, so I believe it was no surprise to friends of mine who know me well that I decided to enter a dungeons and dragons program for Dungeon Masters based out of Panama City FL. I can’t even say that I have always been well-versed and into dungeons and dragons, because quite frankly, it was a new experience for me born from my days in lock down during the pandemic. At the time, my roommates and I were going a little stir crazy and decided to expand our horizons a bit which included getting into many different types of games, one of which being dungeons and dragons.
We all got pretty into it, and quickly developed our own lore and back stories for each of our characters as we developed our realm even more over time. It was such a rewarding experience that I believe truly brought out the best in us and brought us closer together during an otherwise very difficult time in our lives.
Fast forwarding a bit now that we are beyond the early days of the pandemic, I still find myself enthralled by dungeons and dragons and wanting to continue to develop what we had started during that era. Moving beyond this pandemic activity, I am proud to say that I have emerged as a fully-fledged fan and want to continue to pursue this as a hobby into the future.
Part of my conviction toward this game has been my dedication to learning more of the mechanics involved, and being able to learn how I can properly advise and coach others as a Dungeon Master. I feel like I have already learned a lot, and been able to do a lot as well, but seeing this program out of Panama City FL as an opportunity to continue to refine my abilities was very exciting to discover.
