Of all of the crazy things that I had to arrange for this mystical party in Washington DC, I’m actually pretty impressed with myself and the overall turnout for the event and everyone’s anecdotal praise for the smooth running. Though there have been many frustrating aspects of the planning process, all of the effort ultimately was worth it since I can now say that the party checked off all the boxes for the excited party goers, and I even got a small write up in the Washington DC paper for the orchestration. I now feel confident in my abilities to handle any bizarre scenario that involves a hippopotamus, and have more than a few stories to tell my friends back home.
