Having recently volunteered to undergo cloud computing training with my job, I have had the pleasure of being flown out to Nashville TN and put up in my own furnished apartments in Nashville through House For Now, so that I can complete the training in a timely and comfortable fashion. I have been enjoying this process a lot so far and have learned so much that I intend on sharing with the team on a whole when I get back.
Cloud computing training actually consists of multiple parts and ramps up quite aggressively towards the middle. As a result, I find myself spending a lot of time practicing and reviewing my notes from earlier sessions in this program.
The cohort that I am going through this process with has been incredibly supportive, and we are all in it together. We work hard to ensure that everyone is totally up to speed on every new concept and take extra time with anyone who may be struggling with any particular concept.
I am quite proud of this group, and excited to be part of this cohort who are undergoing this specialized training. We all work well together, and even though we will all leave to go back to our respective teams around the country, anticipate we will continue to support each other, moving forward with new cloud computing capacities.
Because this program is so intensive, I am also particularly grateful to House For Now for the relaxing environment that they have provided for me through their furnished apartments in Nashville. This space has truly been my safe haven at the end of many long days of training.
I take pride in my abilities in computer science, but I feel like I may have been a little foolhardy leading into this program and slightly overconfident in my abilities to learn new computing concepts. I have certainly been humbled by this experience, which has enriched me personally, not only through the new lessons that I am learning about computer science, but also personal character building.
I really hope that the team will continue to send folks to this computer, science and cloud computing training program in Nashville TN in the future.
