Packing and moving can be particularly stressful when the moving company accidentally ships your stuff all the way to the other side of the country, in the wrong direction! I have personally never heard of anything like this happening before where somebody’s belongings are shipped to the wrong address let alone on the other side of the country! Naturally this means that I will be without my things for quite some time while they track them down and then bring them back to the appropriate address.

Meanwhile, I am living quite comfortably with quality furnishings around me.
The lead up to my move was also stressful, and I feel like there were more than a few omens that pointed toward it not being a smooth process ahead. Of course, I ignored these signs and simply powered through the packing and shipping process in the hopes that I would be able to take a breath of fresh air on the other side.
I suppose the joke is on me for being so excited to move to a new area that also has similar sounding names like in other places in the country. But again, neither I nor any of my friends have ever heard of anything quite like this happening before.
I am quite grateful to Home Street Serviced Apartments for taking me in on such short notice yet still providing me with a high-quality experience and their wonderful corporate housing in Pittsburgh PA for me to enjoy during this difficult transition phase. I feel like Pittsburgh PA has opened up to me in a new and exciting way, and while this is not how I had anticipated the start of my journey to go, I have been making the most of it in the meantime.
