I ran outside with my boots and could see very clearly that part of our roof had caved in due to the weight of the snow. I was quite scared, and immediately got my family out of the house and called the appropriate authorities.
Luckily, the structural integrity of the house is just fine, but we need some significant repairs in order to actually move back into our home comfortably. Suddenly, without a place to stay, I was scrambling to find anything in Tallahassee FL where we would be able to call home for the time being.
